It can take up to 15 minutes to verify all your information once you complete and submit your information.
Verification takes 15 minutes or less.
RentZoot is powered by best in class verification tools.
Finicity - Verify: Income, Employment & Assets. No impact to the potential renter. Secure and encrypted. RentZoot uses it to create NTR™ and verify income.
TransUnion - Verify: Credit & Debt. No impact to the potential renter. Soft credit check. RentZoot uses it to create the RentZoot Verification Badge and verify monthly payments and debt.
Checkr - Verify: Criminal Check. No impact to the potential renter. Secure and protected. Not automatic, landlord needs to request. RentZoot uses it to verify a potential tenant’s criminal history at the request of the landlord.
RentZoot Identity Verification - Verify: Identity. No impact to the potential renter. Helps fight fraud. Runs in the background. RentZoot verifies paystubs against actual bank login information and systems.
RentZoot requires a 2 year residential history. No PO BOX.
RentZoot requires a 2 year employment history. If you were unemployed for a period of time, we'll need to know when during the last 2 years.
A social security is required in order to verify your identity.
Honestly is the best policy, we'll be able to see though your bank account if you didn't make your payments on time or didn't make payments at all. The landlord can also reach out to your prior landlord to verify you paid rent.
Finicity allows you to easily permission data from your bank accounts with Finicity Connect. This gives RentZoot the ability to verify account details, balances, and create our verification reports.
You need to know your username and password for your bank account in order to authorize connection
A pay stub is required in order to verify what your pay stub take home is with the direct deposit amount in your bank account.
It's not part of our standard business model and landlords have the option of requesting a criminal check. That cost is a pass though and we don't make money on it.
Anything that you would want the landlord to know that's not in the standard information. Did you have a loss of job due to covid? Do you want to give them some information about you personally, why you are looking, why you love their rental? You can send a note to add a personal touch.
